The Yemeni Peace Committee is a voluntary Yemeni group whose membership includes representatives of federations, unions, civil society, and peace-loving public figures. They all carry out the tasks and powers of its executive regulations and work to localize the solution and formulate a comprehensive national consensus charter under the roof of the Republic of Yemen, its constitution, applicable laws, national sovereignty, and the goals of the Yemeni revolution, September 26, 1962. And October 14, 1963 and the outcomes of the National Dialogue, giving each region the right to fully manage itself locally
The committee was established on January 1, 2023 and declared this day a national day every year for peace in Yemen.
This blessed committee was formed over the years through the continuous and strenuous efforts of a group of honorable people at home and abroad.
As a result of the initiative of the National Nationalism Awareness Movement, whose executive mechanisms were based on the formation of an independent national committee concerned with stopping the war and building peace, it includes the political and intellectual spectrum in the country. It also has specialized teams active in all Yemeni governorates and in most countries of the world in which Yemeni communities are present.
